HowThe Nettle came to be

Hi there! My name is Stephen. I am a Miami-Dade County fireman. I bought the townhome now known as the Nettle in 2023, and after extensive renovations, it accepted its first reservation in July of 2024.

It took a lot of love and work to bring the Nettle to its current state as one of the top-rated short term rentals in central Florida. Between my wife and my two sons, they had a hand in renovations, building, styling and design. Below are some before and after pics.

My mother’s name was Annette. My dad used to call her Nettle for short. Welcome to the Nettle.
