Orlando Dance Conservatory Opens Beautiful New Studio in Winter Garden
For many families in Horizon West, Orlando Dance Conservatory is much more than a dance studio. It is a place where children build confidence, make lifelong friends, and discover a passion for dance.
Now, the conservatory is beginning an exciting new chapter.
Brand New Studio!
Orlando Dance Conservatory has officially moved into a brand-new studio at 751 Business Park Boulevard, Suite 102, Winter Garden. The larger location gives the growing school more space while allowing it to continue serving families in the Winter Garden community.
The new 3,500-square-foot facility was designed specifically for dancers. It features sprung dance floors to help reduce stress on dancers' bodies, spacious studios, private instruction rooms, dressing rooms, and additional space for future growth.
Garner’s Vision
Since opening in 2021, Artistic Director Aretuza Garner has focused on creating a program that develops more than strong dancers. Her goal has always been to help students build confidence, discipline, respect, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts. Whether a student dreams of dancing professionally or simply wants to enjoy taking classes, the conservatory provides a welcoming and encouraging environment.
The school offers professional instruction from experienced dance educators with more than 25 years of teaching experience. Students ages 4 and older can train in classical ballet and contemporary dance while developing important life skills that extend beyond the studio.
Offerings and Open House
With the move comes an expanded class schedule. Along with its well-known ballet program, Orlando Dance Conservatory now offers tap and Pilates classes. Adult students will also have more opportunities to participate with both morning and evening classes. Families looking for recreational dance programs can choose from ballet, jazz, and tap classes designed for students who simply enjoy dancing for fun.
Over the past several years, Orlando Dance Conservatory has helped many students earn acceptance into respected ballet programs around the world. Just as importantly, it has become a place where local children can learn, grow, perform, and gain confidence in a supportive atmosphere.
To celebrate the new location, the conservatory will host an Open House on Saturday, August 8, at 2:00 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the new studio, meet the instructors, and learn more about the expanded class offerings.
Where to Stay?
For families traveling to the area for summer intensives, workshops, or multi-week dance programs, finding comfortable accommodations can make the experience much easier. The Nettle, a spacious four-bedroom, three-bathroom townhome in the Orlando/Kissimmee area, offers plenty of room for dancers and their families to stay together. Located about 30 to 45 minutes from Orlando Dance Conservatory and just minutes from Central Florida's famous theme parks, it's an ideal home base for balancing dance training with time to relax and explore everything the area has to offer.
It's exciting to see Orlando Dance Conservatory continue to grow and invest in the future of dance education in Central Florida. The new studio marks an important milestone for the school and promises even more opportunities for students and families in the years ahead.
